Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Durga Emporium (destore.co.in), your satisfaction is our commitment. Established in 1979, we have built our reputation on authenticity and care - and that extends fully to your post-purchase experience.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please read this policy carefully to understand your options. This policy applies to all orders placed on destore.co.in.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for most products. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.


2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The return request is raised within 7 days of the delivery date
  • The product is unused, unopened, and in its original condition
  • All original packaging, seals, and labels are intact and undamaged
  • A valid Order ID or invoice is provided as proof of purchase
  • The item was purchased directly on destore.co.in
  • Supporting photographs or video are shared in case of defect, damage, or wrong item

We strongly recommend retaining the original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your order and have no intention to return it.


3. Non-Refundable Items

Certain product categories are ineligible for return due to hygiene, safety, or the nature of the product. Please review this table carefully before placing your order.

4. How to Initial a Return

Raising a return request is simple. Follow these steps to get started:

Email Us Within 7 Days of Delivery

Send an email to destore024@gmail.com with your Order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason. If the product is damaged or incorrect, attach clear photographs or a short video.

Await Review & Approval (2–3 Business Days)

Our customer care team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with a decision. We may ask for additional information or images.

Return Pickup or Self-Ship

Once approved, we will either schedule a free return pickup (for defective / wrong items) or guide you on self-shipping the item to our address. Use a trackable courier for self-ship returns.

Inspection & Confirmation

Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the outcome via email within 2 business days.

Refund or Replacement Issued

Upon successful inspection, your refund or replacement will be processed promptly as per the timeline below.

Online Payments

Refunds to UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking are processed within 5–7 business days after approval. Bank processing times may vary.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

For COD orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or UPI. Please share your bank account details or UPI ID when raising the return request.

A partial refund may be issued if the item is returned in a used or damaged condition, or if original packaging, accessories, or components are missing.


6. Damaged or Wrong Item

We take great care in packing every order. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we sincerely apologise and will make it right.

⏱ Act within 48 Hours: Please report damaged or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery by emailing destore024@gmail.com with your Order ID and clear photos/video of the issue.

Upon verification, we will offer you either:

  • A full refund to your original payment method - at no additional cost to you
  • A free replacement of the same product - subject to stock availability

Return shipping for damaged or wrong items will be fully arranged and borne by Durga Emporium.


7. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for a different shade, size, or variant of the same product, subject to availability in our current inventory.

  • Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery
  • The item must meet the same return eligibility conditions (unused, original packaging)
  • Follow the same process as returns - email us at destore024@gmail.com
  • If the requested variant is out of stock, a full refund will be issued instead
  • Price differences for exchanges (if any) will be communicated before processing

8. Order Cancellations

Before Shipping

Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched. Contact us immediately with your Order ID via email or phone. A full refund will be issued.

After Shipping

Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Please wait for delivery and initiate a return request following the process above.

To cancel an order, email destore024@gmail.com or call us at +91 8484006936 with your Order ID at the earliest.


9. Shipping Costs for Return
  • Defective, damaged, or wrong item: Durga Emporium will bear the full return shipping cost and arrange pickup at no charge to you.
  • Change of mind / voluntary return: The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
  • Self-ship returns: We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service. Durga Emporium is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during self-ship returns.
  • Refunds for self-ship returns will only be processed once we safely receive and inspect the returned parcel.
